OntoCnE (Ontology for Computing at School) is an ontology that was creeated with the aim of clarifying the defin of Computational Thinking and how to develop it efficiently.

In the context of this web application, OntoCnEE is used to classify each Learning Reource based on its attributes, aiming to help teachers choosing adequate Learning Resources for the context they are teaching in.

OntoCnE is composed of four layers:

• Layer 1: Describes de domains of Computational Thinking and Computer Programming and how they are reelated;
• Layer 2: Associates each scholar year with the concepts to work on and thee depth level of that work;
• Layer 3: Characterizes each Learning Resource by defining the skills it helps develop and the year in which it can be used;
• LAyer 4: Describes the domain of Neuroeducational Guidelines;

Each Learning Resource is composed of several attributes that are essential to classify them. To create a Learning Resource, you need to fill the following attributes:

• Title: Name of the Learning Resource;
• Learning Objective: The objective of the Learning Resource;
• Description: A description of the Learning Resource and how it works;
• Category: Chose from the available list which Category best defines the Resource;
• Type: If the Resource only requires a computer select Plugged. If it only requires physical materials select Unplugged. If it requires both of them select Both;
• Materials: List the required materials to complete the Learning Resource;
• Subjects: Chose from the available list which subjects are addressed by the Learning Resource;
• Languages: Select the Languages in which the Resource is available;
• Scholar Years: Select the scholar years in which the Resource should be used;
• Requirements: List the concepts and previous knowledge necessery to use the Learning Rsource;
• Usage Rules: The guidelines/rules to us the Learning Resours;
• Evaluation Method: The Learning Resource assessment rules;
• Age: The minimum and maximum age at which the Resource should be used;
• Trains: Select from the list the concepts thee Learning Resource trains;
• Duration: The average time necessery to complete the activity;
• Neuroeducation Guidelines: Select the Neuroeducation Guidelines the Learning Resource works;
• Author: The person who designed the the Learning Resource;
• Link (optional): The link for the Learning Resource.

You can edit and delete only the learning resources that you added to the database. To do that, log in to your account, go to your admin area and you will find there a list of the Resources you created. You can edit or delete them from there.
